Akkor jutott ez eszembe, amikor a Beszédképzés sorozat köteteit böngészve a tréningeket gyakoroltam. Már említettm, mennyi-mennyi nyelvtani elem található bennük, szórakoztató, könnyed formában.
Szoktál azon gondolkodni, hogy milyen lenne...?
Most egy kis játékra hívlak! Természetesen angolul...

Anna: What’s your idea of the perfect flat?
Megan: What a question! My perfect flat would be impossible.
Anna: Tell me anyway.
Megan: Okay. My perfect flat would be big, with high walls. It would have a round living room. The living room would be almost all windows and there would be a round balcony outside. But of course, nobody could look into my flat.
Anna: Why not?
Megan: Because this is a dream. The kitchen would be very big, with a big table in the middle. There would also be a sofa in the kitchen, and maybe some comfortable chairs, so that you can hang out there. In the bathroom, there would be both a shower and a bathtub. The bathtub would be deep enough to stand in up to your neck.
Anna: What else?
Megan: Bedrooms. One for me, one for my best friend, one for my boyfriend, and one for visitors.
Anna: That sounds wonderful, but it probably is impossible.

Anna and Megan are talking about an ideal flat. Anna is very curious about what Megan’s ideal flat would look like. Megan’s ideal flat seems impossible. It would be big with high walls. It would have a round living room and it would be almost all windows. It would have a round balcony outside. The kitchen would be very big with a table, a sofa and comfortable chairs in it. Megan has a lot of friends and she likes to cook very much. With the chairs in the kitchen her friends could hang out there while she was cooking. In the bathroom there would be both a shower and a bathtub which would be deep enough to stand in up to your neck. There would be four bedrooms in the flat. One for her, one for her best friend, one for her boyfriend and one for visitors.

Anna: “I asked Megan what her idea of a perfect flat was. And she said absolutely crazy things! For example, she wanted her living room to be round with high walls. She also said that it had to be almost all windows, but still nobody could look into her flat. I thought it was impossible, but she explained to me that it was only a dream. The house she imagined was very big with many rooms: a living room, a balcony, a huge kitchen, a bathroom and four bedrooms. She said she wanted to have her friends around all the time, so she planned a sofa and chairs in the kitchen. I always knew Megan had a wild imagination, but she can still surprise me with stories like that.”

Mint láthatod, nemcsak azt a szerkezetet lehet ebben a szövegben gyakorolni, hogy mi milyen lenne, hanem nagyon sokféle nyelvtani elemmel találkozhatsz (személyes névmások, létige, birtokos névmások, jelzős szerkezetek, szórend, helyhatározós szerkezetek, kötőszavak, egyszerű jelen, egyszerű múlt, többes szám, összetett mondatok....., a hely sem lenne elég ezek felsorolására...! A színezgetés a végtelelnségig folytatható...) Ha megfigyeled, benne vannak az egészen egyszerű szerkezetek is, de komplettebb formákat ugyanúgy megtalálsz, miközben szórakozol az enyhe humorral fűszerezett beszélgetésen és az összefoglalókon.
Az egész egy nagyon hasznos nyelvtankönyv - álruhában....
Megtanulhatod azt is, hogyan lehet egy történetet, egy párbeszédet összefoglalni. De ez még nem minden! Többfélék vagyunk, így ezen a szinten már nemcsak szimpla leírásokkal találkozhatsz, hanem különböző véleményekkel is.
A kérdések pedig segítenek az anyag feldolgozásában. De nemcsak abban! Megtanulhatsz te magad is kérdezni.
A könyben megjelölt szinthez képest érdekes kifejezésekkel, szófordulatokkal, nyelvtani elemekkel találkozhatsz. Így már választékosan, szépen tudsz majd beszélni és írni némi gyakorlás után.
Természetesen az egész szöveghez hanganyag is tartozik.
Van ennél szórakoztatóbb, ugyanakkor hasznosabb módja a nyelvtanulásnak?

Közben pedig sajátítsd el a nyelvtant tökéletesen, s közben tanulj meg szépen fogalmazni angolul...
